Human society is no real atheist

In India, people regard the Ganges River as a god; in Japan, people regard a warrior as a god and sometimes they regard food as gods; in China, people regard the emperor as a god, in West, younger regard the game, sometimes they regard knowledge as a god, sometimes they regard money as gods.

All people in this world have the worship psychology of gods, and as long as they are humans, they will have this metaphysical spiritual appeal for the ultimate purpose of life. When we discuss beliefs, we are discussing the important difference between humans and animals. It is recommended not to say that we are an atheist lightly because speaking in this way means to emphasize that we are an animal without a soul.

Faith is purpose-oriented. Living to prevent the gloominess of the theory of human nature and the shortsightedness of the theory of knowledge, and emphasize that the purpose of being a human being is to glorify God. This is true faith because we believe that for the people created by God, we naturally want to return to the kingdom of God. This is the most distant and ultimate teleology. Intermediate teleology in any sense will not stop our lives abruptly.

With the expansion of human rationality, doubts and challenges to God will increase. This is a tension, a game. Israel wrestled with the man in the wilderness. It seemed to be a tie, but eventually, he was going to become disabled. This is the truth of human history. When a son grows up, he will always despise or even forget the importance of his father. God and mankind, father and son, constitute an eternal life conflict.

“In the eyes of God, even the moon is not bright; even the stars are not pure. Man is so unimportant! Man is just a maggot, and the son born to man is just a worm.” This is what a smart person knew about himself more than 6000 years ago. Do you think his sigh makes sense? What I want to say is, why people are so sad and despised about their existence. The only reasonable explanation is that in an era of total despair, when a person cannot see the purpose of his existence, he will always be Seeing oneself as worthless, judging oneself as a completely meaningless, dispensable nihility.

If historians only seek the truth as their teleology, they may have turned into liars. Deceived oneself and then deceived others. Perhaps a good historian possesses more historical materials and slowly expresses his views on history in a presupposition and explicit analysis method. The purpose of history should be to find the texture, not just to find the facts. If you realize the importance of truth, you will become a person with a sense of mission.

European tradition and Anglo-American tradition. Greek philosophy-German philosophy-French revolution-Russian spirit; Anglo-American tradition refers to Protestant ethics-Scottish Enlightenment philosophy-Anglo-American modern political and economic system. Some people know that democratic politics and free economy mainly come from the British and American traditions, but due to the separation of beliefs, some people choose the European tradition, and some people return to traditional thinking. Perhaps, many people are lost, or we all chose to have a problem. The most thorough proposition is that the purpose orientation of these people is stuck in the center view.
